The NCB seized drug cakes weighing 10 kg from the accused. In addition to this, the agency also recovered 1 lakh 72 thousand in cash along with 320 grams of opium and 50 grams of hashish from the accused.

Mumbai: In a major success the Narcotics Control Bureau has arrested a man in Mumbai in connection with a case of drug trafficking. The accused was making and selling intoxicating cakes through his bakery. Originally a psychiatrist, the accused had started a bakery in his home in the Mazgaon area. The accused has been identified as Rahim Charnia. After getting wind of the clandestine business, the NCB set up a trap and arrested the psychiatrist…
