Controversial Quebec radio host and psychiatrist Pierre (Doc) Mailloux has been found guilty of 13 charges related to his medical practice.

A disciplinary committee found Mailloux guilty of misdiagnosing patients and prescribing large doses of two antipsychotic drugs.

The Quebec College of Physicians ruled he made hasty diagnostic judgments which he failed to revise when patients began experiencing dangerous side-effects.

The side-effects included respiratory problems, motor and vocal difficulties, anxiety, vomiting, heart palpitations and confusion…
