The national medical regulator has suspended the licence of Tasmania’s chief psychiatrist.
The Australia Health Practitioner Regulation Agency confirmed that Aaron Groves’ registration was suspended by the Medical Board of Australia on Monday.
He will not be able to practise during the suspension.
A spokesman said the agency would not be commenting further due to privacy reasons…
He has previously held the role of chief psychiatrist in Western Australia, Queensland and South Australia.
